Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Baalr ("Baalr," "we," "us"), a team-management platform for youth, local, and travel sports clubs, provided by [Legal entity name pending — e.g. "Baalr, Inc.," a [State] corporation]("Company"). By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or otherwise using Baalr, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who this applies to

Baalr is used by three kinds of accounts: club administrators and coaches("Staff"), who manage a club's teams, schedules, communications, and finances; guardians, who manage an athlete's participation and payments on the athlete's behalf; and, where a club permits it, adult athletesmanaging their own account. A club ("Club") is the paying customer and is responsible for the accuracy of the information it or its members enter, and for obtaining any consents required from families before adding their information to Baalr.

2. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Accounts belonging to minors are not permitted — a minor athlete's participation is always represented through a guardian's account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials (including any password you set) confidential, and for all activity under your account.
  • Clubs are responsible for verifying that any adult they add as Staff or a guardian is who they claim to be and is authorized to act on a family's behalf.

3. Club and guardian responsibilities

Clubs and guardians who enter a minor's information into Baalr — including name, birthdate, emergency contact, and photos — represent that they have the legal authority and, where required, the parental/guardian consent to do so. 4. Payments

Baalr facilitates payments (such as dues, tournament fees, and roster deposits) between families and Clubs using Stripe as our payment processor. Baalris not a party to the underlying transaction between a Club and a family — we provide the platform that processes it. Platform fees, where applicable, are disclosed to the Club before a charge is made. Refunds are issued at a Club's discretion and processed back through the original payment method where possible; see [refund policy specifics pending] for timing and exceptions.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Baalr to harass, threaten, or endanger any person, including minors on a roster;
  • Upload content you don't have the right to share, including photos of a minor without appropriate consent;
  • Attempt to access another Club's data, another family's data, or circumvent any access control;
  • Use automated means to scrape, probe, or overload the service;
  • Use Baalr for any unlawful purpose.

6. Data ownership

As between a Club and Baalr, the Club owns the roster, scheduling, and communications data it enters. Baalracts as a data processor on the Club's behalf for that data, consistent with our Privacy Policy. A Club may export its own data at any time; see the "Your data" controls in account settings.

7. Termination

Either party may stop using Baalr at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, poses a safety risk to minors on the platform, or is used fraudulently. Financial records are retained after account closure as described in the Privacy Policy, for accounting and legal compliance purposes.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Baalris provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Baalr is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. [Liability cap and jurisdiction-specific carve-outs pending counsel review.]

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to Club administrators by email before taking effect.
